Dezember 2018 wurde der neue Kessel in der BLS Schiffswerft Thun ins Dampfschiff Spiez eingebaut. Der Einbau erfolgte ohne Probleme, siehe Fotos von Robert Horlacher. Versp\u00e4tung gibt es hingegen mit der neuen Dampfmaschine, deren Einbau gleichzeitig h\u00e4tte erfolgen sollen. Wegen der ausgezeichneten Konjuktur der Schweizer Maschinenindustrie ergaben sich bei allen Unterlieferanten erhebliche Versp\u00e4tungen.
