Im Rahmen von Optimierungs- und Personalschulungsfahrten wurde die hauptrevidierte und modernisierte Dampflokomotive G 3\/4 Nr. 11 der RhB auf der ber\u00fchmten Albulabahn eingesetzt, eine der wenigen zum UNESCO-Welterbe z\u00e4hlenden Bahnlinien. Die 35 Promille steile, sehr attraktive Strecke weist zahlreiche Br\u00fccken und Tunnels auf und wurde von der leicht\u00f6lgefeuerten „Heidi“ mit Bravour gemeistert. Mit voll ge\u00f6ffnetem Regler und dauernd 45% F\u00fcllung fuhr die Maschine absolut rauchfrei. Die Heissdampftemperatur erreichte 290\u00b0 bis 320\u00b0C, was f\u00fcr Flachschieber genau richtig ist. Die Inbetriebsetzung konnte mit diesen Fahrten erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden.
